In 2016 I read an article over the controversial issue on Gabby's Douglas beauty presentation during the Olympic sports 2012. She was making history in her ability to flip and flop as a gymnastic leader for our country, but there were major issues about her hair and her plain Jane poor image representation as a black girl. The words in social media were, "her appearance is so poor and homely looking." Gabby and her family could not believe the social media reviews of her looks beyond her talent. She was so devastated that I believed it effected her abilities to move higher in the next years in her gymnastic career.
I have a question to my readers?
If we are called to a level of leadership in the eyes of our American Republic, do we have responsibility to first properly manage beauty ownership above our talents?
Years ago I watched a special about Hip Hop female artists. In part of the segment it was mentioned that in hip hop industries beauty and sexuality are so expensive. A man in this industry do not have to work as hard as women in maintaining image above talent. To maintain beauty and sexuality are so expensive that this is one of the reason why there are so few female legends in this industry.
Beauty does not get us to the top, but I feel it is important that once we are at the top. Beauty for a women will make or break you in the eyes of the American Republic.
I feel as women it is important to maintain our beauty in a healthy and positive manner. In this world there is no beauty like that of a woman. I know it is just as important to be beautiful on the inside as outside. But outside beauty is what people sees. I encourage you today, to take just a little more time to pamper and beautify appearances.
My Beautiful Wigs and Mary Kay Cosmetics products can help you start that journey today. I have a wig collection of over 100 wigs and will soon have 200 wigs in stock. I have been a beauty consult for over 15 years. I love beauty, skincare and holistic health care.
